“Let’s make our local families sparkle this Christmas. Keep the magic alive by supporting our appeal!”
Help us to support local families in need this Christmas – your vital support will make a real difference to local families who are experiencing difficulties.
Ways you could support us are:
- Getting involved in our Dress Up day from 1st December (On any date that is suitable)
- Financial donations to our Just Giving Campaign
- Donations of local supermarket vouchers (Aldi, Tesco, ASDA, Iceland, Sainsburys etc) to help support our families with food & essentials this Christmas. Please email info@homestartchams.org.uk or call 01293 416327 to find out what we need.
With your support we can continue to help families such as:
- The Mum who has recently moved to the area following domestic abuse and is separated from all her previous supports as she adapts to being a new Mum.
- The Mum who cares for 4 young children under 4 who needs an extra pair of hands to get down the stairs and out of the house for appointments and a walk in the fresh air.
- The Mum and Dad who have their own mental health challenges and need the reassurance and guidance of another parent to grow in confidence and learn to enjoy their children.
- The family who are struggling to manage the demands of a disabled child alongside financial hardship and housing challenges.
- The Family who are just finding family life overwhelming and need that extra piece of support and encouragement to navigate their way through.
- The Mum who is struggling with post-natal depression and worried about bonding with her baby.
- The parent who themselves had a poor experience of childhood and desperately seek to give their own child a better start in life but unsure how to begin.
Please help us to support families just like these over Christmas
We know this Christmas is going to be difficult for all with the cost-of-living crisis we are experiencing. We are grateful to our supporters.
It really turned things around for me, I feel like it was a circuit breaker – a fresh start. I can’t thank her enough. She got me out of a dark hole and into the sunshine”
