Join our team here at Home-Start (CHAMS) as a Board Trustee and make a positive impact to the work that we do. This is more than just a role; it’s a chance to leave a lasting legacy of positive change.
Do you have safeguarding experience or digital PR and marketing experience? Do you have some time to help a local charity make a real difference to families in need by joining us as a trustee?
Home-Start CHAMS offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in the local community of Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex. We do this through a body of volunteers who visit families at home and we also offer weekly specialist groups for young parents, families with twins and multiple births and those who feel isolated.
The roles
We are looking for 2 talented individuals to join the board and contribute to the strategic development and further success of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills and experience to make a difference to the life outcomes of disadvantaged children.
For the safeguarding role we are looking for someone with expertise in the area of safeguarding children, who will understand the issues and be able to offer advice as well as implementing best practice.
For the marketing role we are looking for someone to oversee our digital and PR marketing
Our trustee roles are open to all. We welcome candidates from any or all backgrounds who think they have the required skills and can contribute as a trustee.
This position is not remunerated but all expenses are paid.
