What type of leader are you?

Do you have digital PR and marketing experience or Early Years’ experience? Do you have some time to help a local charity make a real difference to families in need, by becoming a trustee?

The Organisation

Mission

Home-Start CHAMS offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children, in the local community of Crawley, Horsham and Mid-Sussex. We do this through a body of volunteers who visit families at home and we also offer weekly specialist groups for young parents, families with twins and multiples and those who feel isolated.

The Roles

We are looking for 2 talented individuals to join the Board and contribute to the strategic development and further success of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to put your skills and experience to new use in a different context and to make a difference to the life outcomes of disadvantaged children.

For the Early Years role we are looking for someone with:

• Substantial Early Years and Special Educational Needs and Safeguarding expertise
• A deep expertise in Early Years Education and Care/SEND, inclusion and safeguarding, understanding key issues and implementing best practice.

For the Marketing roles we are looking for someone to:

• Oversee our digital PR and marketing

Our trustee roles are open to those of any or no gender, and we welcome candidates from any and all backgrounds who think they have the required skills and can contribute as a trustee.
This position is not remunerated but all expenses are paid.
